Donna loves her colors!

It all started with a gift of a box of oil pastels from her sister-in-law when Donna was in second grade.

Maybe Donna was one of those lucky individuals born with natural artistic abilities. Maybe it was her family’s unfailing support and encouragement. But early enough, it seemed perfectly natural that her talent and love of art would lead her on an artistic path.

She was accepted into the fine art program at UC Santa Barbara where her palette expanded to include oils, acrylics, and chalk pastels. Then it was off to Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design for post graduate work. There, she immersed herself in the study of typography, and the art of illustration and commercial graphic design.

Her father, who owned his own insurance company, was particularly proud of Donna when she started her own business, ConceptuaLine, soon after finishing her studies. She’s built a thriving graphic design company by constantly evolving with the times. She’s grown and developed with the industry, moving from physically cutting and pasting to virtually cutting and pasting. Always staying at the forefront of technology, when website design came on the scene, she added coding to her skill set. And now at the dawn of the artificial intelligence era, she has another artistic tool to use—as long as it is used to save her clients time and money.

Donna is clear-eyed that the human touch takes top priority when it comes to capturing the individuality of each of her clients and their all-important message.

And to think, this all started with the gift of some pastels.
